We love to complain. In many ways, there’s never been a time in history where people had it easier. Yet we complain to much. It could be worse, much worse. Probably isn’t much of a reason to actually be complaining.
Give thanks for every good thing. Give thanks for all the bad things that you've avoided. Someone always has it worse off than you. Give thanks for that.
I speak about living with gratitude often. Because it’s truly revolutionary. In doing so, give gratitude often. Tell people that you’re grateful for them. Let them know they’re appreciated and important to you. That’s how you spread the spirit of gratitude.
There's something to be thankful for all the time. Losing sight of all the blessings and miracles in our life leads to bad places. The more we focus on the good the better we are; from a cellular level, manifest to the biggest areas of our life.
Gratitude makes you a better person. Gratitude makes your life better. Complaining does the exact opposite. Complaining accomplishes next to nothing. Maybe just negative things. Make gratitude a daily practice. Make it a moment by moment practice. Learn to be grateful for seemingly little things. The more you can appreciate the little things of life the happier you will be.
Train your brain to be grateful. Train it to find the good. We default to what’s wrong and the negative. So we have to flex our mind to get it stronger.
Wiring your thinking to have gratitude by default changes your life. When you can live by gratitude your whole world changes. In every way. Practice gratitude until it becomes part of who you are. It’s a simple as writing down every single day just one thing you’re grateful for.
Living with Gratitude is one of the best life hacks there is. There’s so much to be thankful for. So find things to be grateful for. It will minimize all the things you’re currently seeing as issues.
Celebrate the little things and the little wins. Don’t overlook all the good small things that happen. It’s worth acknowledging them as it builds gratitude.
Gratitude is like exercise. There’s so many benefits it’s not easy to summarize the benefits down to just one thing. There’s so many benefits to gratitude that a life without is one devoid of much of its worth.
It doesn’t take grand gestures to make people feel appreciated. It just takes small, thoughtful gestures. Making meaningful connections and showing appreciation and support goes a long way in helping us make people feel appreciated.
If you're not grateful for something you will waste it. If I'm not grateful for today, I'm going to waste it. If I'm not grateful for my family and friends, I will waste the benefits of having them. Gratitude is the only way to live. That's not just a nice platitude, but it's a practical instruction on how to live your best and most fulfilled life.
