Fairness

Life isn’t fair. Bemoaning the fact it’s unfair or the injustices that happen to you won’t change that. Life isn’t fair, but that doesn’t mean we should use those things that are unfair to stop what we should be doing. Unfair things will happen, keep moving and looking forward. You’ll go where you aim. Focus on the injustice and you’ll live in it. Focus on moving forward and you’ll go forward.

Radical Honesty

The more honest you are, the more powerful you are to overcome your personal weaknesses. It requires radical honesty. The type of honesty that we call ourselves out when we even begin to see ourself walk a destructive path. Radical honesty may often require accountability too. But radical honesty is the way to overcome weaknesses.

Name It

If you can name it, you can claim it. That's why it's important to name things we need to address. If you can't name it, you can't deal with it. So name it and claim it, both for the good and the bad. Name and claim the good things in your life. Name and claim victory over the things that are bringing you down.

It Can All Be A Victory

Everything can be turned into a victory. Maybe not a pretty one, maybe not a desirable one. But every bad thing can carry a lesson and a victory. Were only defeated when we give up and refuse to change or learn. A bad thing can give birth to a good thing.

Victory

The position of victory is never reached by accident. You will never accidentally fall into victory.  Victory only comes through vision, determination, hard work and steadfast resolve.

Churchill In A Crisis

Image
Winston Churchill seemed to know a thing or two about managing crisis. He was a leader at one of the darkest times in history and led a country from the edges of defeat to victory. Churchill said to never let a good crisis go to waste. Crisis are good opportunities for refinement. They're good opportunity to force us to re-think things. They're a good opportunity for us to learn and to usher in paradigm shifts. What can we learn and what can we change today? What have we been doing wrong and how do we fix it? What could we do better? Let the lessons of todays crisis fuel tomorrows victories.

Fighting Back

Here's a good tip on fighting back against anything... Don't use the same weapon your aggressor is using. If your aggressor is using violence. Don't respond in violence. If your aggressor is using hate. Don't respond in hate. If your aggressor is using intimidation. Don't respond with intimidation. The saying goes that you can't fight fire with fire. Want to overcome your aggressor, make sure your tactic is different from theirs.
