Some Coronavirus Random Thoughts
Wow! It's been an insane week! I haven't experienced anything remotely like this in my life. I would say the world hasn't seen something like this in many regards since world wars. I'm not comparing this to world wars, but the world-wide fear maybe hasn't been like since since world war.
Random thoughts...
I do believe the saying that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
This is uncharted territory. Nobody really knows anything for sure. We're all guessing. But we should pay attention to medical professionals.
You can't deny the data. If anything the numbers are much higher than what is being officially reported. We're looking at exponential growth, not linear.
Our world isn't used to not having instant answers. This is very uncomfortable not being able to have the exact, full answers. You can't google this one and have the answer(s).
Our world isn't used to being patient. But this is forcing patience.
Information overload isn't good. It takes a lot of time to parse the data for what's good, bad and propaganda. Good analytical skills come in handy right now for sure.
Lastly, this is really showing what's important in life. No, not toilet paper, but food, shelter and clothing. The basic necessities of life. What are you worried about most? You and your families heath and well being. And that's a lesson in what's really important.
Maybe we will come out of this with a renewed sense of what's important and what isn't.
Maybe we will focus more on what's truly important and that's a very good thing to come out of all this.
