A Precedent

Each action sets a precedent. That's why it's a bad idea to make a mistake twice in a row.

A mistake must be followed by some form of correction. Because a precedent has been set and must be reset.

A good action sets a precedent. It makes another good action easier. Every action is a precedent; every follow up a precedent. Don't make the same mistake twice. If you have, immediately set a new precedent.
