Just Listen

People need your ears more often than they need your advice. The life words you can speak are words of love, understanding and kindness. Words of judgment and condemnation don’t help anybody. But you can lift someone with words of love and simply listening. More than advice people need space to learn and grow.

The future is nearly impossible to predict. We can make some good educated guesses though. Sometimes we will be right and sometimes we will be wrong. I've seen people destined for greatness fall short. I've seen people destined for nowhere good shock everyone and do great things. I've seen redemption, I've seen falls. Truth is truly stranger than fiction. You cannot predict the future. This isn't intended as negativity. It means, never give up on someone. And never give up on something. Believe in the worst case situations. Look to redeem the unredeemable. Don't assume the underdog won't win. Don't write anyone off, ever.

If you want to experience more you have to get out.  Get out of your ruts. Get out of your limits. Take a detour from your mundane routines. Routines are good. But it’s also good to enhance them with some changes or experiences like a trip or different way or doing your routine.  Get out there, there’s lots to learn and explore.
