The Happiness Formula
People assume something like the following formula: me + "object of my desire" = happiness.
We also assume: other person + "objects of material" = happiness.
So, if I get “that” I’ll be happy. Or since they have “that” they must be happy.
The true happiness formula looks more like this: me + decision to be happy = happiness.
