Quality
Do quality work. You will absolutely stand out if you do quality work. Many are looking to get by doing as little as possible, those doing good quality work are the exception to the norm.
Doors
In life there will be many doors or opportunities present themselves. We have to learn wisdom to know which ones to go through. Not every opportunity is something we should take advantage of. Some opportunities are distractions. It's okay to say no.
