Formation Hurts
It hurts to grow sometimes. It hurts to become, to be "formed".
If you watch a potter make a vessel, it takes a lot of kneading out of bumps and then pressure to form the shape they want. Then once the vessel is formed, it is"fired" in a kiln at temperatures between 1800F - 2400F.
Similarly, to become what we need to be, there will be much discomfort and sometimes pain. It will feel like going through a fire at times. But the end result is a vessel capable of being trusted and used with valuable responsibilities.
Do not fight the growing pains. Know they are stretching and forming you into what you need to be.
Shirking the process will have an end result of a flawed vessel.
