When someone makes a bad decision, inevitably there are people who feel let down.
You have people relying on you. So your decisions and actions affect more than just yourself.
Selfish decisions unfortunately often affect more than just ones' self.
I'm a huge proponent of loving and living for yourself (not in a selfish manner, but in the way of being the best possible version of yourself). But if we live for others and consider others in our actions and behaviours, how would this affect our behaviour?

ReplyDeleteI share your sentiment because the blind can't lead the blind. The unhealthy must be healthy to help the broken. As selfish as that sounds, it has to be looked in a different light. Great reminder today.
Very sobering.. Someone relying on me today, makes me take a hard look and ask myself if I am loving them, as Christ would want me to love them.
