Kindness

Sometimes it's the smallest things that change us most fundamentally. A few months ago on the internet I came across a picture of a saying on a whiteboard. The saying simply said, "Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be Kind. Always."

Reading that shook me for some reason and I can say this phrase has changed me. It doesn't mean I have been perfect, but I'm getting better.

The dividends of sowing kindness are so much higher than harshness.
