The Broader Picture

Narrow views lead to narrow thinking and narrow thinking leads to anemic results.

This means narrow in the sense of not considering the broader picture. 

Once you've recognized and understand the broader picture, by all means be narrow/singular in purpose and vision.  

You can't know what to hone in on and refine without examining the broader picture.
