Dialogue and Teaching
The best teachers use dialogue to teach.
Telling someone something is a start.
Showing someone something is better.
Discussing with someone is better.
Not much learing occurs when being told something. Being told something is merely words. Experiencing what you've been told is invaluable.
Being able to discuss, ask questions and receive answers is invaluable.
Teachers, your job has only began once you've "told" those under you something. Engage in dialogue. Walk with them through their experiences where appropriate. Let them walk through some experiences by themselves where appropriate. But be present. And engage in dialogue.

This is excellent. Might I add, the depth of learning is enhanced and much richer through dialogue.
